New 6.9... Gold Coast, Australia

Hi Robertd, and greetings to all other forum members...
The last few weeks have re-ignited my love affair with W116s since the recent purchase of my second 6.9.
Many thanks to Robert who was a gentleman to deal with, but furthermore described the car to me accurately over the phone and upon arrival, i found no surprises. The vehicle travelled 2,000 kms from Victoria through to the Gold Coast in Queensland, effortlessly and without any issue whatsoever...
I will be slowly making some improvements and updating you as i progress and time goes by.

Thanks to Joe from MB Classic, I've just received the last RHD Navy Blue genuine dash-top in existence. The current dash is in perfect condition, however it is a re-skinned version...
Soon the vehicle will be undergoing a bare-metal respray and I'm also in the process of sourcing more parts to bring the car up to, hopefully "concourse" condition, the same way as my W126 has turned out.

Rob is a genuine fellow who tells it like it is. please post your efforts with your 6.9. 
also congrats on your dash, which isn't quite the last new RHD dash in existence, but the last one available from MB - TJ and I got our dashes a while back but haven't yet installed them!
