So, I'm confused about the correct motor mounts for my 6.9.

EPC shows some 100 pn's that arent available and look nothing like the ones on either of my cars. A1002231301  A1002231401

Is the 123 pn the correct ones now?  and how do you tell the right one from the left one.  I have some spares that look pretty good for now.

Are you talking about the rubber mounts or the cast iron mounts?

Because the cast iron mounts are indeed the A100 pn's, while the rubber mounts are A1232411413. And you need 2 of the rubber mounts, so there are no difference between left and right.

Rubber mounts:

Thanks, rubber ones.  I was confused by the two pictures in EPC.

Just keep searching regularly. They pop up a lot online.
Try the "stealership" thread for a list of NOS suppliers. Good chance it's there you'll find those parts.

dang Rum,
admittedly I might have got these two years ago or so. I had a set I bought a while ago that I never fit and when dad rebuilt his 6.9 he took the ones I had, and ordered another set at the time!
Im sure they will do intermittent runs

I've used a few trans mounts of that brand, and they haven't been in service long enough to comment on the longevity, but certainly when they arrived, the packaging looked cheap.

Im going to ask this at this thread:

I´ve got 450SE 1975. This is D-jet version.

There is no left motor mount available for my car. Ive asked dealer and everywhere else. Only can find right motor mount. Not even from Classic Center.

So it appears that older V8 w116 has left and right mounts that are different. Is there any otherway to get some kind of replaments for my car?

Early 350/450 uses a different engine mount to the later ones.  I've used late style mounts on an early car before, but one must install the M10 bolts that match the later mounts.  I think the difference between the bolts was simply in length, and one will need the longer, later style.

So the later mounts can be used for earlier model? Just different lenght bolt?

Can anyone find a picture from earlier mounts? The picture above is the later ones? And its same for both sides?

floyd111

What about FEBI and Meyle?

Em86

Nope. It is like the last one on earth has been sold.
