Rear 300sd w116 moulding/trim

Howdy! My name is William (m16),and I'm really new to the forum, I recently bought a 1979 w116 300SD and am going to start restoring it!
One of the main hiccups I'm facing at the moment is that I can't, for the life of me, find any information on a replacement for the rear window trim/moulding, as the car came with it missing. So far the closest replacement I can get is rear trim/moulding for a w123 but I'm skeptical that the part is the compatible.
If y'all know any places where I can find that part or whether or not the piece is the same on a w123 please get back to me.

The anodized aluminum trim is held on by clips that are riveted on around the window. Only w116 trim will fit. You can find the trim pieces on ebay and ebay.de from time to time. on this site in the Technical section is the repair manual with instructions.

Since grill shells and inserts are NLA here is a good solution:  Cost is similar to just buying new strips.

Oh the previous owners gave a new grille to attack with all the strips! They also included some mixed and matched parts and 4 extra Mercedes wheels
