You're all still here!?!?

Not sure if any of you remember me but I just thought I'd drop in and say hello! You might remember that I got rid of the 6.9 for a new CLK. Well I tired of that and replaced it with an R129 SL500 which I absolutely adore. For all you R129 fans out there, you may not have seen this very rare car for sale (click on "for sale"....it's at the top of the list).

Hope you're all well.

Of course we all still remember you! Thanks for dropping in and giving us the update :)

I do like the R129s and have ever since they came out. I especially like the example you pointed out on that site for sale. Not too many of those I would imagine.

Oi!  James, how are ya  ;)  Mate congrats on the SL.  What a history and pedigree.

I saw the advert said it was on a Top Gear episode.  Was it that actual car or one like it and have you got a link where to see it?  I went for a search and all I got was a youtube clip of James May doing 407kph/254mph in a Bugatti Veyron.  Well worth a look if you haven't seen it but I'd like to see what they say about the SL500.

Hi Oscar and Michael!

No. Sorry mate. I don't have the Top Gear video. Shame as I would like to see it too. That SL73 is so nice. I'd be tempted if I wasn't about £30k short! Oh well.

Oh....... Now see I somehow misread your first post and assumed you went and bought that behemoth.  I'm here thinking you're hauling ass in a 7.3L monster.  I also misread the price as $44,950, affordable, adding to the assumption.   Not £44,950 which is probably about $150,000AUD. ::)  It was 3am, it's acceptable to miss minor details like that.
