Thanks to oversize and mrkozzy for making the effort to meet up.  It's always good to meet new W116s.  We had a nice breakfast, we spoke lots of rubbish of course.  mrkozzy showed up in his one owner 280 SE, a tourist delivery bought new in 1975.  Some pics:

Yeah it was a great day and lets hope we do many more. Met a couple of great guys!

I thought I could swap the Rugby top for the Ferrari.
unfortunately,  NO SUCH LUCK!  Carl wanted the 116 thrown in as part of the deal.

That's Mrkozzy's car and it's actually orange!  We all agreed it was a really nice colour, although Mrkozzy's vote didn't count for obvious reasons!  If you're a Ford, Ferarri or MB fan then Carl's man-shed should be on your bucket list!!
