Would the Administrators and designer of our logo (i.e. Oscar) mind if we used the logo on a T-Shirt to mark our London meet? If granted permission to use the logo, could I please be supplied with a high res image?
Thanks
Gavin
This is the 'W116.org logo' I would like to use
(http://gallery.w116.org/dl/35587-1/W116+org+logo.jpg)
.
What about banner paper MT. ;) 8)
You could use it as wallpaper as well, and have the logo tiled all over the house, haha.
Tim
We don't have any issue with non-commercial use of the logo as a way to promote our forum and the cars.
If anyone wants to alter the logo, they would need to seek permission and approval of the changes.
It would be nice if the forum is notified of where and how the logo is used both before and after the event (share those photos!).
.
To the Administrator
Thank you for allowing permission for use, I will investigate the possibility of doing T-Shirts for our event now that I have the thumbs-up. Pictures you shall have of the event!
Regards
Gavin

Polo Shirts? 8)
Definitely more Class than T-shirts
do they come in astral silver 735? :)
Hi Nathan
You organise your aeroplane ticket, I'll get the polo shirt in Astra Silver...
For the time being, you can choose any colour as long as it's classic white 737 ::).
Keep you guys posted.
Gavin
I'll be at heathrow on may Friday may 4 for 2 hours before flying on. That will be XL thanks! Ha ha, good effort and show us the pics!
chuck a big logo on the back of light grey hoodie, maybe with your online name on the front? i would pay money for that, even if you old blokes turn up your noses at 'hoodies' mixing with MBs haha :D
.
LOL I hate em too MT but its bloody cold down here and they have their uses.
I know this thread is a bit old but I kinda like the line art prototype drawings in the gallery......
or a modified version of
(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c35/tony66_au/logo_zps1ff85c9a.gif)
The advantages to line drawings is they are monochrome and colour neutral.
it can be ANY 116 model
It will last longer on the garment because there are no huge slabs of print to bubble and crack.
And it is classy.........
Here is another good one, a tad inaccurate but you get the idea and backfilled in black/grey

I've been afraid of people wearing hoodies ever since playing "left for dead" When the zombie apocalypse is upon us I will have my shotgun pointed squarely at you 8)
lawl guess id better hunker down on the east coast instead of trekking across to perth like id planned...then i can fend off the zombies nice and comfy in my hoodie
LOL,
Well I wore a hoodie to the German Car Day and I haven't been shot in the head.. Yet! ;D
Tim
yeah, i think your days might be numbered lol id get out of town while you still can
I like Tony's idea of B&W but they'll definitely need fatter rear tyres to fill those guards (ref Charlie's car)!!!
.
Yeah but no logo = no entry!!! ;)
Shaun of the Dead it THE Zombie movie to watch and it has a few Mercedes in it from memory.
Mmmmm Braaaaiiinnnns
.
LOL well that was kinda cool!
Nice guitar riffs

I'd love to help and post a clearer picture but that's the best I have. The high def version which was submitted to the badgemakers was on a computer of mine who's hard drive suffered the "click of death" and I haven't been able to retrieve anything off that hd. It shouldn't be too hard for someone to trace that image and retouch a high res version on photoshop. Yeah I could but I can't at the mo. I'd have to relearn a different version of PS and not up to it sry. ;)
ahhhh disappoint :( ill see if that big-ish image is useable
