Yes - we have a RHD 540K in South Africa!!!



The car on the right is a 350SE and the one one the left is a 280S, both in nice condition and with under 100 000km.

Interesting red leather interior of the 350SE. It was a direct import as red was never available on South African cars. It was the personal car of Dr Anton Rupert of the Rembrandt Group. The Franschhoek Motor Museum and wine farm is owned by the Rupert family.

Looks like it was a great day, and some very nice examples of the marque. Two 6.9's ! Exceeded your expectations by 100% ! Again, both look like nice examples. Was GVH there, and if so, what did he bring ? He has a 6.3 and a 600 as well.

Very impressive lineup, I think even an event in Germany would be impressive with cars of this caliber and quality. much less South Africa, which to many would be a far flung corner of the world.

Yesterday I saw a silver W107 with red interior.....fabulous!!!

the white 6.9 looks as if it is wearing a very nice set of 15" bundts - just don't like the black painted a-pillar nor the piece of trim at the back of the rain channel / c- pillar ala 123 style !!

Hey I've only once before seen a picture of a red 116 interior, and it was in poor condition.  This one is nice.  Oscar, check the console in the 350SE - nice zebrano and no window switches.......

Yeah I also thought that 6.9 had 15's on.
