Pretoria Old Motor Club 'Cars in the Park 2007'

Yesterday the annual 'Cars in the Park' event took place, hosted by the Pretoria Old Motor Club. It was held at the Zwartkops Raceway west of Pretoria and was open to anything with four wheels. Most marque clubs were present, and the Mercedes Benz Club of South Africa was out in force, with members coming from all over South Africa. Many Cape Town members flew up for the event, but Mr. de Klerk was notably absent. There were only 3 W116's in attendence - a 280S, 350SE and my 6.9. The organisers were hoping to see a 350SEL, but the owner did not appear.
It was a miserably cold and overcast day, resulting in poor attendence, but for us, it was a very successful club outing.

It was good fun, even though bliksem koud. 

Grant had is racing finnie there too.  Sounded brilliant!
