Rob thanks so much for the box of goodies yesterday :)  The calipers and ECU are on the bench as we speak.

Was great to see Rob and Mr. Kozzy with their cars.  Standout W116 goes to Greg with his 1 owner 1974 280 S with 42,000 kms (Pictured).

I was surprised this year by the lack of good quality W126 and W140 offerings.  Just a few in each class.  Are these heading the same was as the W116?

Some pics.....

For those that don't know, the MBCV day is not just Mercedes-Benz.  It's the annual RACV display of classic cars which is usually held at Flemington of which the MBCV decide to hold their annual show at this location.  This year it was at Mornington Racecourse however.  I have to say I liked the venue, but it was really hot by 1:30pm when we left.

And who was that knob who parked that 911 in between Rob and Greg's car!

Some more images of the other marques:

In answer to your question on who parked the 911 in the merecedes area?
Well, When I arrived I tried my best to park across it so as to block it out.
Not to mention any names Carl888, but I'm pretty sure  I spotted the driver Carl?

I was surprised at how well some makes of cars interiors hold up better with age at this show. Most of the interiors of the bmws of the 80s were looking tired compared with the mercs 20 or more years older.  I saw a fire engine red 280se that was parked near the sec- anyone on the forum own it?
