what gave me the impression it was stolen?

well, i didnt need any keys when i took it from the shopping lot 

no...in knew it was stolen coz our friend jonny116 from the netherlands was seen running fom the scene!

It breaks my heart to see such a straight 116 dumped on the road, If my car was drivable id go pick it up on the flat bed and bring it home. and start stripping it.

Anyway - here are some pictures of todays very successful meeting.

I counted 8 - 116's and all well loved with different amounts of money being thrown at them (as you do).

Four - 6.9's, two 450's and two 350's.

One thing that was noticeable was the new Mercs that drove past and seem to be having a peer.



We met on the South Perth Foreshore and formed an orderly gaggle and discussed important things like European and Zimbabwean Politics while peering intently underneath each others bonnets.



We then drove towards Fremantle causing a noticeable ripple in the Ozone Layer and here is AMG69 driving his old car and making suitably comforting noises about some of the "improvements" it has received in the last 6 months.



The cars were lined up and rested under a tree while the owners and partners were fed and watered in the adjoining restaurant.

Thanks to Nathan for all the hard work he put in arranging the meet.

And yes I did bring that M-B sunroof paste with me and yes I did only remember when I arrived back home so I guess there had better be a next time.

no i was at home  is verry long time ago i took a W116 i think i would be verry rusty when i try to take one now probably i need now 2 to 3 minutes instead of 1 minute or less
