This last weekend the local MB owner's club had an informal GTG at one of the member's homes.  He has a fair bit of land on the outskirts of Johannesburg.  There were some astonishing cars there, most notably one member's W123 300D with 20 000km on the odo, genuine, car never been exposed to the weather.  It is an absolute reference as to what a W123 should look like.

that w123 is insane, did you get any interior shots of the seats etc ?

Sorry, 'fraid not.  I only had my cellphone camera there. 

I'll see this car again fairly soon, and I'll make sure I have a proper camera.
