I've noticed he's been absent.  I'm sure nothing sinister has happened.

I've been wondering if a deal was struck with his 6.9 but wanted to wait and see.  Although w116 ownership isn't a prerequisite, I was hoping he'd get another or keep the 6.9 so he'd stay on the board. 

Maybe he's sold the 6.9 and scouring the net for info about a newly acquired RR.  Have you made the switch Des?

I don't think Des has sold his car yet.  He's been popping in on m-100.cc on and off in the last few days.

Guys, thank you for your kind words and well wishes, it is really appreciated,
you guys are like an extended family, have gotten to know many of you quite well and everyone here has been very supportive and helpful, I've always tried to be the same in return


I have been working on a deal as a trade for my 6.9, this will be coming to fruition in June, (can't believe its already June 07)

Will have some details to share in a few weeks.

Haven't been up to much with my 6.9 lately, just running her every few days, keeping her up and running, lubricated etc..

And Des, yes I had noticed the absence, but with the 6.9 thing going along I knew it had something to do with it. Look forward to hearing about the deal and your future ride, Des.

I'm here too!   

Just too damn busy!  Absolutely ZERO time spent on the 6.9 (lots of unfinished stuff) and I noticed the central locking was slower to react than I was on SUnday morning (after a night out) so I suspect I ahve another leak...sighh.....
