Who here has the highest mileage?

Given that these cars were designed to have a serviceable lifespan of twice that of a regular car it's common to see examples with high mileage. Although I would imagine that most of the very high mileage cars were worn out and scrapped decades ago I would still assume that many have survived. We all enjoy seeing the cars with remarkably low mileage but I'm just as interested in seeing cars that have traveled distances way above average. After all, these cars were designed to be driven, and driven far, for a long time. Driven into the ground in fact. I have total respect for anyone who has a clean, low mileage car and wants to keep it that way, don't get me wrong. If I had a car below 100,000 clicks I would rest it on bags of rice in a locked garage and stand guard over it with a 20 gauge at night... But anyway, I have equal respect for anyone here who just keeps racking up mile after mile on one of these things. It's great to see.

A few weeks ago my car passed 222,222kms. I took a photo! Normally I wouldn't quite be nerdy enough to share a photo like that but amazingly that exact figure rolled onto the odometer just as I was pulling into my parking space at work. 222,222kms is 138082.349 miles... apparently, for those wondering.

So what's yours? Who here has the highest, I wonder. I'd guess some of the diesels in North America would have the highest since those engines just seem to go on forever, plus anyone who bought one originally probably wanted a good long distance tourer and racked up big interstate miles.

No photo necessary if you can't be bothered taking one, we can take your word for it. You're a Mercedes owner and therefor honorable and trustworthy (and probably handsome too).

1980 300SD. 330,859 miles or 532,466 kilometers on the original engine which hasn't been rebuilt, and it still runs like new.

Well, if Beastie's car is only just run in, and Squiggle Dog's car is just stretching its legs, then I've barely put the key in my ignition...
;D ;D ;D

310,000km's.  Never had the head off.  Did 800km's over Easter at freeway speeds. Gotta love the combination of design and materials that makes 40 year old cars a conscious pleasure to drive.

Highest mileage 116 would probably be Dokter Bert's 300SD that had 1,344,246 miles on it when he sold it back in 2014 (http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/318342-doktor-berts-300sd-sale-9.html). Now owned by Alec300SD (http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/members/alec300sd.html). IIRC the original engine was replaced at like 1,200,000 miles or so but was still running okay at the time. I don't think either of them have an account on here though.

My personal 116 is around 185,000 (odometer broke around 182,000 a year or two ago) and my parts car was at 202,000 miles.

I gave my gray 1979 300SD to my cousin about 3 years ago. Drum roll please. It has over 487,000 miles now, 735,000k for our metric friends. She isn't the prettiest girl at the ball, but she still runs strong and shifts well. My 300SD has only 163,000 miles or 262,000k. My 300D has over 238,000 miles.

My 1974 350SE has 411 000km (bottom end original, heads appear to have been off before)

Reading those numbers makes me positive about driving my 450 for long years to come. It's barely run-in at 69k miles.

This was made not long after I bought it at just over 60k miles.
