I disagree they weren't supplied with the cars, it just doesn't make sense. its a compulsory safety piece and the manual shows how to use them.  I agree you would have thought there would be some sort of container for them. its very odd but out of hundreds of 6.9s in Australia Ive recorded, probably less than 20 have the blocks still (I understand they would be very easy to lose!)

It's the same deal with the earlier air suspension cars. They had a pair of buffers for the front lower wishbones each, and a pair of buffers that fit between the rear axle and bump stops at the rear. Again, I suspect it will probably remain a mystery as to whether they came standard with the cars or not, although as Nathan says it would be a very useful thing should something fail.

Incredible asking price but here is one more affordable.

Why ruin a perfectly great MB Interior :o?  Hard no for me on that one.

Shoot me, but I am kind of hot for this one. Out with all the originality, no doubt, but this is a pretty lush interior.

looks like someone just ripped out a rolls interior and tacked it on. seats are too wide and I imagine dont slide forward!

The chairs, yes, it's all mad, but imagine the work that went in the door panels..

I just noticed the front footwell side panels are missing as are the front seat hinge covers.

The colour choice for the carpet is terrible and personally I would've selected electric seats to replace the standard ones, but I can see what the owner was trying to achieve. It's always difficult when straying from original features and it usually separates buyers into love and hate. Not a great idea to divide the market when your trying to sell. Different if u intend to keep it for decades....

The 6.9s original interior did not reflex its status in the MB range, however I suspect they wanted to distance it from the 600 which had power everything.

Sounds to me like it was up to individual dealer policy whether to chuck them in the boot during the delivery process, or chuck them in the bin!
Seems obvious what they should've done now...
