Just near by at walking distance it's motorworld (https://www.motorworld.de/en) worth a visit to admire the collection/renovations/sales/stores/etc).
We didn't stay at the V8 hotel but they gave us a tour of some of the rooms. Nice effort to create that automotive environment.
