Just seen a video of the Thai Classic Car Club. There was the usual line up of 300SL, 190, Gullwing, W111 Cabriolet etc and there right in the middle a 116. It was a metallic green rather like mine but a little darker. The respray of mine was done over white primer as I thought it would brighten it up. Looks like that worked OK.
