Silver 6.9 Sold Gone to a good home

Well that is it, I no longer own a roadgoing 116. My 6.9 was on carsales for a few months with some interest and a couple of inspections from Melbourne buyers but no one wanted it as much as I did $$. Then a few weeks ago got a call from a nice chap from the Gold Coast after a bit of discussion he agreed to fly down which he did last Saturday afternoon. He was a true gentleman, paid the agreed amount then headed off on a roadtrip adventure with his mate that had accompanied him. They drove all night in shifts to make it back to the Gold Coast the next day. Hopfully he will join this site and share his experiences.

No Bill, the 2 116's I have out the back of the shed are only parts cars and both are 280's, they are a good stockpile of bits and pieces. They gave so others could live!

Hi Nathan,
I know I will miss it from time to time however it was the car I drove the least and I needed some incoming funds to pay for other projects. Maybe one day I will come across any one?
