Title: Saw a lovely burgundy W116 going through Hyde Park today
Post by: adamb on 19 June 2011, 01:56 PM
I was jogging in Hyde Park today and saw a lovely W116 drive through. It was debadged but the sound was unmistakeably of an M110 engine. So I'll assume it was a 280SE. Is the owner on this forum?

Not seen that one, but a royal blue 450sel used to drive down baker street quite a bit when I was working at Portman Square last year...

One of my W123's was burgandy - it's a really lovely color for classic Mercedes, goes really great against the chrome.

I dream of this 6.9:

That's a nice colour, Raptelan.

Will, where are you based, what do you drive?
