Photobucket is not working so will upload some photos tomorrow when back in Turkey. It is light Blue, with Brown (?) velour interior.
I know that the previous to last owner, who has owned 3 or more 6.9's in his time, wished he had never sold this one as he said it was the best one he ever owned. I will "loan" it to Ron Bunting until the rego expires in November, then decide what to do with it.

Photos now below for #1738.

I can't tell too much about it yet, and obviously these are the sellers photos, but it had the transmission done in December '06 (at $3,000), and self levelling valves have also been done. A/C changed to R134, and had a set of new Bridgestone Turanza tyres. Seller has always run it on premium BP unleaded (he was very adamant that he only ever put BP in it) and it has been serviced by Dave Walton on the Gold Coast for the past 10 years. Dave was a previous owner, and was a bit shocked that the seller didn't offer it back to him, as that was the arrangement when he bought it off him. It seems it was sold in Adelaide - presumably not long after it was privately imported. I will do some more digging on the original owner in due course, and find out where it was delivered. Antenna is on the wrong side for some reason - probably had a hit in the rear at some stage in it's life.

You can vote again, I've kinda future proofed the poll for your benefit Craig  ;D

It's funny, I saw this one relisted and thought to myself, it's in Queensland, it looks good, it looks well priced, I wonder if Craig will buy it.  Not thinking you actually would.  But congratulations....again.  What are you like on the stockmarket Craig.  I think we're seeing hoarding of 6.9's to reduce supply to increase the price :D

Once again, congrats.  ;)

Funny you should say that. I didn't have any plans on buying it, but I had bookmarked it, and it was only when I was in Bangkok and it only had 8 hours or so to go and no bids that I made the guy an offer, which he accepted. I can say that it was no where near his starting or Buy it Now price. I did manage to sell out of the stock market 2 weeks before the 1987 crash. Does that tell you something ?

By the way, that badge beside the rear licence plate says something like "Bring the boys home" or some similar reference to the Iraq war. Fortunately, it is magnetic and will probably (or hopefully) be removed by the seller.

Does it tell me something?
Why it's the Domino Effect.  It was all your fault. :D

AND I'd like to know what you've done to cause the current downturn.
