I need help. I know that few people on our forum, have an armored w116. Can you explain, where have you found them? I am searching for a long time, but no result... I want to buy factory Sonderschutz w 116. :-\
I just got lucky one day and saw my armored W116 on the side of the road while I was on my way to work. Got it for 500 dollars. The guy who sold it didn't seem to care so much about it. He told me that it's probably worth more as scrap metal, if that's what I wanted to do with it. :o
And if I live in Europe and have not got an opportunity to find w116 armored in my city, what advice you will give me?

Have you tried approaching the Classic Centre in Fellbach yet? They should at least be able to tell you how many were made, and to which countries these were sold. I'd also check carandclassic.co.uk frequently.
