Title: Oil Price crash
Post by: BCDC on 20 April 2020, 05:20 PM
Hi All,
I may start eyeing off a V8 W116 now that the oil price has hit zero. Fuel in Melbourne is below $1 per litre and here in Tasmania it's getting close to that now. I can even drive my six cylinder a bit harder now. So there is an upside to all this crazy world after all.

It's 83.9 at my local BP currently for ULP. But there's nowhere to go lol.

I will be doing some essential trips in the 6.9 though.

Ive got mine sitting with a full tank. :D

Haven't had (been able to afford) a full tank for years and years.

Altho the 98 rated premium stuff still costs over AU$100 to fill a tank.

I agree with Tim. The issue is we aint allowed to go anywhere............. :'(

Well, premium is 0.40usd/L here in Taiwan, but besides driving around in circles on this island, there's little gained. Plus I haven't got a W116 to drive! :D

I've 96 litres in the tank, can't leave the bloody garage with it without facing a fine and/or jail time for non-essential travel.

I take out the 280TE on shopping runs though :)

So your shopping run just happens to be at a store in a town 50km away?

I wish :)
The farthest I can just about get away with is 16km away.
