I have a twin snorkel air filter from a 560 but cannot fit it to a RHD as the A-C hoses get in the way.

There will be a posting on this site from days gone by.

If you re-route the A-C hoses you still really need to put the battery in the boot to get the cold air duct down to the headlighty area.

Hi Bill would you consider selling it as i have to replace most of my air to fix rerouting the hose is not an issue.  :)

Yup that will be the M117 oil filter, I sent Ryco an email about this mistake in their catalogue about a year ago and they fixed it at the time, has the mistake come back now?

Edit: just answered my own question, they don't show an oil filter for the 6.9, maybe you have an old catalogue Motec?

Hi Ken no but repco do have old catalog.  >:(

Hi Mark I don't think so Standard oil is supposed to be 10/40 this Penrite says it is the replacement for that oil its 10/50 weight . It is also High Zinc oil.http://www.penriteoil.com.au/POS/HPR_Labelmarking.jpg

Heaps of room!!

BTW the factory oil recommendations were for a new engine and I'd suggest its requirements change as it gets older and the clearances increase....

Hi Mark 100mm will fit if its welded to intake as there is not enough metal left to reliably bolt throttle body to intake. Motec really hard not sure I would go down that path again. Motec $3000+ fuel rails ,tps, injectors Bosch 308 from memory they were from Porsche 944 Turbo , Aeromotive fuel regulator, Timing taken from distributor advance removed just rotor, aircleaner does not fit with fuel rails. Motec could not run standard tacho. As I have said cost over $7000 in parts . If I am to do it again Haltech F10 fuel only computer or my preferred option FAST with custom intake made can be done for less than $4000 with manifold included and is self tunning. Oh and throttle body is 92mm

Ok the first results are in.  230.1 HP at rear wheels for a standard 77 Euro 6.9 . flywheel corrected power is 288.9 HP so my car is very healthy as factory specs are 286 HP at flywheel . Car had Penrite HPR 10 oil full synthetic 10-50 put in last week . New NGK iridium plugs and New air filter. On Monday car goes to Genie for Extractors Duel 2.5 inch exhaust with x pipe and 92mm throttle body to be fitted. Then back for re run on dyno .

Hi Guys,

New to the forum having just purchased a 6.9. She is a bit rough and will require some attention before I license it. I am also in Perth. I have lots of questions about the suspension and sourcing parts. Hoping you would be able to assist me.
Regards Kim
