New 450 SEL
« on: 10 March 2021, 04:57 PM »
Hi friends,

After three years of researching and searching, I purchased this 450 SEL in Byzantine Gold on tan from Vancouver, B.C.

I have always loved the W116. I love the curves, the massiveness of it, and the solidity of construction. I always thought it blended modern design with elements that remind me of 1960s-era vehicles. You can see this in the curve of the roof as you look out the windshield. When I look at these cars I am often at a loss for words.

Thank you all for your help,

Andrew

Also, I briefly looked at the service manuals in the technical area of the W116.org forum. Is that the best place to find a checklist of all the maintenance items on a 450 SEL, or is there anything else that is more straightforward?
