Long story:  Some of you have heard it.  In 1992 my wife and I came back from Japan and needed a good used car.  The local Chevy dealer had a 1991 Sable and this 1978 Benz.  We wanted the Benz, bad but we knew 27-year-olds did not need a 14-year-old car.  Well, today 32 years later we bought that very car!  We still don't need it but who cares!  I have spent 4 glorious hours washing and cleaning her up!  It's a 1978 Mercedes Benz 280 SE with 72,000 original miles.  It was in Germany until 1983.  I assume a US Air Force service member shipped it home.  If you can help identify the sticker on the front bumper that would be cool!  Also it had this bottle of Brandy in the trunk!
