I wanted to say hello to you all. Have been lurking for a while and finally joined. I finally bought a classic Mercedes. It so happens to be a 1980 300SD, this ticks off many boxes for me. First off classic car with classic looks. I even like the USA spec look. Secondly i have never owned a diesel, so a vehicle with the legendary om617 mill is a nice way to own my first diesel. Thirdly I have owned a couple of modern mercedes cars, currently still do. I always wanted a s class from the golden age. I also prefer the w116 over the w126.
