I am to be honest.... 19 at the moment.... soon to be 20! my first Merc was a 85 126 300D at the age of 17. I have always loved Mercs and Ferraris!

I'm 33 and have been in love with 116s ever since my Dad bought a new 280SE in 1976. I bought my first 116 in 2001. My Dad has passed on now, but the 116 still lives on!!

Well, I guess I'm one of the old buggers here!  I'm 58 this September, and have owned my 116 for almost three years now. It has about 166,000 miles / 267 km on the clock.

My first Benz (which I still own and drive - though on Club (Historic Car) plates) was a 1970 W108 280SE. It belonged to my family doctor, and I drove it when it was about five days old; that experience convinced me that some day I'd have to own one. Eleven years after my first drive, the doctor offered me the car for the (shameful) trade-in price that York motors offered him for it on a new (126) Benz. It was one of my daily drivers for 20+ years, and has done in excess of 516,000 miles / 830,000 km. It had an engine rebuild about 50,000 miles / 80,000 km ago.

I also own a 1965  W111 220S and 1965 W112 300SE coupe. (See all in the gallery linked under my signature if you haven't been there before.)

I have owned in total 56 cars - almost one for each year I've lived (only four of them Benzes - some lessons can take a long time to learn!). As my 58th birthday creeps up on me I feel the need to maintain the car count, so perhaps there are two more Benzes awaiting me somewhere. (A W126 300SE / 300SEL would be acceptable, as would a Ponton six.) Mind you, with other expenses being what they are this year, I might have to string out those potential purchases a little longer. Why do the unimportant things in life have to be so expensive when Benzes are there just begging to be adopted!   ::)
