Hello all,

As I missed out on the 2nd February this year. I could not let today's date pass without including a photograph
of my registration plate.

This is a vehicle registration from May. 1973 registered in our Capital City - Dublin.

Interested to know if any other member has interesting registration plates.

There is no provision within law in Ireland for owners to personalise their registration plates so it is only in instances such as mine that
any registration number could be in anyway be remarkable.

In Chinese culture I believe my registration plate would be considered to be a lucky number to have !!

Regards,

Bill

I also enjoy numerical sequenced dates. That and odometers rolling over at large intervals. My 300se just rolled 255000.

Hi polymathman and Jed,

Picture shows up on the preview and on my view of the post.  Could you please check the thread on the Fuel System
Refresh that I began-those were sent after the change over and I am aware that viewers saw pictures in those.

I will try again with the registration plate.

Thanks Nabstud,

It must be something that I am doing wrong so.

I'll try one last time - it not a big deal anyway - just a coincidence between the 22nd of the 2nd Month 2022
and my reg. plate 2222 ZJ.

I may have too much time on my hands when I'm even posting such stuff!!!

Sad or what.?

Maybe time to retire from the Information Superhighway.

You are not doing anything wrong. I can see all your photos. Nice to see the old raised plates. Fitted them to mine as just been made legal here. 74 was when they introduced the reflective plates.

I don't have this one currently, but still love it. I had to fight to get it. At first the state said it was obscene? I provided proof that it was the model of the car and they finally approved it.
