I Had A Dream About A 6.9

Last night I dreamed that I had a relative that passed away, who owned a 6.9, and I inherited it. It was a US-spec car with Euro headlights. The relative had kept the car dealer-serviced and spared no expense so it ran mechanically perfect. However, since that sucked up so much money, the cosmetics of the vehicle suffered. He had painted it in white latex paint with a roller brush. For some reason it had some chrome donk wheels that were about 20" big. Looking in the interior, the rear seat bench had been recovered with thick black vinyl with no pleats. The front seat had a bench which had been recovered in the same way. At first it looked like the dashboard had been removed, but then I noticed that one out of a 1980s Oldsmobile had been installed. Some knobs (including the shift knob) were missing. It must have been a stripped-down 6.9 because it didn't even have seat heaters. I sat in the back seat and noticed that the front seat bench had headrests with television monitors built into them. The car was resting low on the ground and after I started the engine, it slowly raised up until it was setting up high like a true donkmobile.

I drove it to my sister's house to show my family, who was all there. Then I took it on a drive through the ghetto and people were nodding their heads and cheering as I squeezed past them, but there were some people sitting out in the road that didn't seem to want to move, and I ran over this lady's foot. As in most of my dreams, when I drive, I have poor control of the vehicle, am usually driving from the back seat for some reason so I can't see where I'm going, and the brakes are unresponsive so I can't slow down or stop. I told the lady I was sorry as I went past and asked her if she was fine. She said, "Yeah, it's alright." I asked, "Are you sure?" She said, "Yeah, no big deal."

I thought this was going to be a positive premonition but alas, sounds like a nightmare!

Funny thing is you would not have to look too hard to find a pimped out 6.9 like that, especially in California...

Haha, that's classic.

At least it wasn't like my nightmare... my mother driving my 6.9 with no oil in the sump during an oil change (I had decided to let it drain overnight, thinking there was zero chance of anyone driving it). Next I know my mother came in saying the engine overheated and just stopped and the starter motor was just clicking!  I was very relieved when I woke up and realised it never happened.
