From just looking at the photos, that does NOT appear to be a genuine AMG. Concerns I have are:

It is possible that the engine has been modified by AMG but I don't see anything to suggest that it has apart from the sellers description.

does not the amg engine have the duel intake air filter housing with cold air intake hoses comming from below ?

AMG did do this but there is no certainty that this was done for all their modified engines. The great thing about old-school AMG is that there was no standard work done to all the cars they worked on.

The owner of the car states that AMG is stamped onto the engine. AMG did the modification at 6522km and got an extr 55-60hp out of the car. He also states he has a german AMG certificate for the vehicle.

(gulp)  Hard to use the words "deal" and 13,000 Euros in the same sentence.  Amazing at how the Continental values of AMG 116s is climbing.
