Does anybody here know anything about Crayford wagons? I have two of them, one is a keeper (the blue one) and the other one I want to sell at some stage.....

Hi coach,

Firstly I think you need to take those wheels off the blue wagon and replace them with original hubcaps.  Just so happens I have white hubcaps and wheels that would suit.  A straight swap might be the go.  ;D :D ;)

Ok, there was a thread which I'll try and find later that talked about wagons, in particular 6.9 wagons of which I'm sure one was a crayford.  I remember searching and finding some info about them but it's probably no more than you already know.  I'll try and find what i found before and post the links.

Are you JG of MBSpares fame.  If so, about time you jumped on board.  :)

You never know, just in case some very neat graffiti "artists" decaled your car whilst parked near the lake.  :D

Anyway. W116 6.9 wagon, That's the thread I was thinking about and one of those links led me to a mention of Crayford but after being thru some I got no idea where I ended up.

G'day, John    :)

Good to see you turn up here on this Other Forum - where I spend the time I'm not at the Ozvets forum.  Between the two of these forums I have gained - and continue to gain - a wealth of knowledge and understanding of all my Benzes, without the grief of ugly attitudes and one-upmanship that I have found rampant on many overseas forums.  (Now I just have to get a few more posts on this forum to equal the number of my posts on Ozvets!   ::) )

I'm sure that others will also welcome your contributions here.
