6.9 in Junkyard

I have wrecked a few 6.9s and people ask me for parts, but never a radiator. I would spend time of things that fail more regularly, like the hydro. if time is short, just take mini bolt cutters and cut the lines attached to the master valve and front valve in the engine bay and you then only have a few 10mm bolts.

Another interior shot. I got the window switches, hazard button and heated seat switches.

Curious if it was hit before or the loader dented it.

Rockers fit fine in 123.

Here is the haul. That is a brand new Bosch rotor.

Rockers look great.

Here is the proof it was a converted euro car. 77082 miles. Which means it was driven less than 10,000 miles since it was converted.

Nice work indeed!
What are your plans for the rockers?  I might be interested though shipping to Canada will probably be a deal killer :'(

Yepp. They'll be off to CO.

I'm still stumped as to where the battery was mounted in this car. I didn't see any battery cables under the hood where it normally should be and the trunk didn't turn up anything either.

If anyone wants any of those parts, please PM me and we'll work something out.

I guess Robert is the fastest gun in the West then ;)

Here is a better shot of the interior. Is there anything else in this mess worth grabbing? I have the seat heater buttons, window switches and hazard button. Also the two little slider knobs for the vents. Tried to get the shift knob, but the bolt is all rusty when I looked down in there.

Maybe pull the switch and cable for the height control valve.  Not big money but worth keeping a spare.  You should be able to pull if from the cab once disconnected from the valve.

Maybe a project for another day.

I just looked at prices for the Bosch ignition coil. Looks like I should grab that on my next trip. I want to say it looked like this:

I have not had trouble finding rocker panels, from MB, Klokkerholm and some B-brands. Cheap too.. well under 100usd. Did all of that change in 12 months?

I believe they are NLA. The OEM list price was $510 PER SIDE.  :o

If it looked like this, it's still the factory coil. They haven't looked like this for years. Now you just get a silver can with yellow paper stickers on it which deteriorate within months of installation.

I'm picking my car from its warranty checkup today, will take a pic.

Got the blue coil today and some other little things. I took a video of the car too. I'll get that posted up later.
