work has begun on removing and repairing the transmission, photos to follow.

I have started to rectify a few things that were no longer original like removal of Sony tape deck radio and replaced with Becker Mexico

next is rear parcel shelf, currently covered over completely with no speakers visible. I have a spare set of 116 speakers and covers.

Rob, fantastic, it looks wonderful!  Can you put that lovely high compression 350 engine in?  What's wrong with the current mill anyway, is it just worn out?  The colour scheme is really ncie, very European, beats the standard silver or white I think.

Hi Carl,
I bought this off an Ebay auction, got bored one night and put a few silly bids in on a couple of cars and won the 350. Its's not a perfect car but has a certain appeal. I've since checked the compression and it gave some good results averaging @ 135psi for all 8 pots

you are correct, the intention was to transplant the alloy 5ltr motor into this one, and that may still be the case, however I want to see it I can repair the transmission so when I remove the motor/trans it could be stored as a full working combo for possible future projects.
