The majority of the world's drivers drive Fords, too, but that says nothing about how good they are - just how accessible, and how well promoted.

My current Mac (Power Mac G5 tower, twin processor, 8 GB RAM ... ) hasn't crashed once in its three years on my desk; it runs 16-18 hours a day, six days a week.

Show me a Windoze machine that stable.

Then there's the lack of worry about viruses, spyware, malware in general ...

Why do I call the Mac the M-B of personal computers?

1. It has superior handling.
2. It crashes far less often.
3. If it does crash, my data is still considerably safer from destruction.
4. It costs more to buy, but the total cost of ownership is way less than for a Windoze system.
5. Planned obsolescence is not its primary designed-in aim (despite PO being a major factor in the computing industry).
6. Mac owners - like Benz owners - can be a tad 'religious' about the things.

Macs probably are good (I've never used one really) for everyday stuff perhaps, but their no good for me...they don't run any of my games  ;)
