Wiring Harness Replacement

I'm still having problems with the D-Jet EFI in my 450SE. I've decided that it comes down to electrical issues and the best thing to do would be to replace the wiring harness. Has anyone out there ever taken on this job? Is it easy to replace this part? What tools will I need to do so?
