Wiper blades: RHD and LHD - any difference?

The wiper blades for a W116 are 450/480mm long, both on RHD and LHD models. Are these just swapped in position, or is there's anything specific in the design for either type? I have no access to a LHD W116 to compare. The price difference is just insane - a set of LHD blades costs ~20EUR (Valeo), RHD ones cost upwards of 65EUR (Bosch).

So, the question is: are LHD blades interchangeable with RHD blades?

Why not just take yours off and take them to EuroCarParts (or equivalent) to find a match. 20 euro should be plenty which ever direction they swipe in!

Finding a replacement is not the issue
I'm actually interested if these blades can be swapped at will between RHD and LHD models.

Hmm, you'd need somebody who has one of each model. But I can't think why they'd be different.

I can't think of a reason why LHD and RHD should be different wipers. I think the 450 and 480mm wipers just have swapped positions.
