Windscreen wash/wipe problem

Hey all,

I have just found that one of the pipe connectors on what appears to be a sender unit has rotted away causing all the water to drain out of the washer bottle. Is it an easy fix to replace the unit, as it seems to be attached to part of the steering!!

That would be the washer pump, which on 450s at least is forward of the steering box on the upper edge of the forked section of the chassis rail.

It may be a case of swapping out the pump if one of the nipples has sheared off.
