Window regulator

I need to replace the front right window regulator and have a quick question to the forum, what is the general opinion about using a "direct replacement part" or aftermarket, rather than an OEM part.  Are there any suppliers that are recommended and any ones best to be avoided?
And then there is always the option to put a used part in.
