Wet Blasting - any contacts in Melbourne ?

Anyone know of anyone doing this in Melbourne - at a reasonable cost ? I use this company in Brisbane (http://www.freewebs.com/blasting/) and they charge $80/hour - but you can do a lot in an hour. The ones I have spoken to in Melbourne are reluctant to quote an hourly rate, and one that did wanted $150. Better than being a lawyer !

Yes - dry ice - liquid CO2. No good for rust but excellent for everything else. I know you are asking about Melbourne but I mentioned it becasue I figured it might be worth pursuing.

Thanks Brian. I haven't pursued Dry Ice as it tends to be expensive, even in dry ice form, and chemically, it is a dangerous substance. Wet blasting is very good for small mechanical parts cleaning, particularly aluminium (although you need to be careful if there is a high magnesium content). I used it when I restored the 300b, with fantastic results, and it tends to be cheaper than other technologies - either because of the process, or because other technologies (soda/Co2) seem to over charge because they think their process is special.
