was looking for a set of horns, low tone and high tone, but I can't tell what type it should be. Got all kinds of correct hits, with photos and numbers, but I find black ones and metallic ones of the same type, and even a second type on metallic. (Not Fanfare)
Would love to find out what's the correct pair.

And, talking about the Fanfare country horn, if anyone could advise me there as well, that'd be great. I had all of that sorted a few years ago, but now it's all been stolen, I seem to have lost my memory as well. :-\

The regular horns are black. I think the chrome ones were used on the 6.3.  The fanfare horns are black plastic with a little motor in them that blows out thru a flared opening. Sometimes you find an italian air horn system for fanfares.

Thanks! Sure looks the same. But are they the right tone, the same as the original?

oh my, them guys again.

btw, I bought the first Fanfare from them, 75 bucks, 3-4 years ago, before they grew horns.

There's an alternative to the Bosch ones - look for Fiamm Tipo AM80-R horns (not the AM80). They were used as an OEM part on tons of cars, from Volvo to BMW to MB in the 1990s. The MB ones were typically a 485Hz + 405Hz combo. You can even buy ones with the MB star on the housing (for originality freaks ;)). I have a set I was going to retrofit on Goldie as highway horns. They fit perfectly, but it was too much hassle with wiring it all in and would involve modifying the console trim to make an opening for the switch in its original place.

They're usually quite cheap on eBay.
To check the (almost) exact tone, just pop-in the frequencies here: https://onlinetonegenerator.com/binauralbeats.html
