Hello Forum.
I hope I am in the right place. Any advice and what to look for in buying a mid 60s W110 230? It all looks straight and original..

So as not to completely leave you hanging, any W110 should be looked over for rust.  Rust is their worst enemy.  Even in arid climates they had tendency to rust somewhere.  Being a 230, make sure the radiator is present, as they are unique to the 230.  All glass and door seals will have to be renewed, and don not buy aftermarket seals.  The engine itself is pretty robust, but the carburetors will probably need some help.  Check to see if the rubber brake hoses have been replaced.  If the rear axle is leaking oil from the ribbed boot then be wary of that.  They're decent little cars when kept up.  The engines will rev very high on the interstate, but that's normal.  It's just a little more noisy inside of a W110/W111/W112. Do keep us abreast of your find!
