Hello W116 Members
A quick search of the archives didn't provide much info. However, I wondered if any of the members had any luck improving the light output of their stock fog lights ?
Perhaps a brighter bulb change or a conversion to a plug & play LED system would put more light down the road.

Anyone have any success ?
As always, thanks for your comments & thoughts.

Not sure of the situation, but maybe point them in the proper direction.

My car did not come with the stock Bosch fog lights. I installed similar looking fog lights, and upgraded to LED. The passively cooled LEDs do not do much for light output and are the only ones that will fit the fog housings. I installed H4 buckets and upgraded the headlights from sealed beam to actively cooled led. Also I wired them that all 4 headlights come on during low beam and all 4 do high beam as well. The light output is comparable to a very modern car while keeping the power consumption below the rated halogen specs.
