Uneven/rapid tire wear

Hello yet again! ;)

I think I have an issue with either the front suspension or the steering on my 116. It seems to drive okay (for the most part), but both front tires are wearing very quickly. The wear is in the corners of the tires, but most notably on the inside corners. My left front tire's inside corner wore down to the metal band in about 3K miles (I put the spare tire on as a temporary measure), and the right front tire's inside corner has now followed suit (after about 5K total miles).

What do I need to be looking at? I'll probably just throw a set of used tires on the front for the time being (or park the car and get murdered by my truck's fuel economy, considering that I have a 75-mile commute :o ), but it would be good to get this resolved sooner rather than later.

Thanks!!

Sounds like you need to take her in for an alignment. The camber may be too far on the negative side which will eat the inside tread off in no time.Toe also may need to be fine tuned if you notice any 'feathering' of the tread.
