Thanks for the link. I used another similar site when I was looking for 16" tyres.

The original AMG tyre size for 16" wheels was 225/50-16. I am running 225/55-16 due to the load requirements of the car for the tyres I wanted.

235/50-16 are also a good size that has a rolling diameter very close to the original 205/70-14 but I am not sure if they will fit. Does anyone have experience with tyres of this size or bigger?

the previous owner of my car had Lorinser 17 inch rims on it but not sure of the tyres - I'll ask him!  They looked and handled fine.[(http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a233/mundayc/c964abdf.bmp)][/url]
