Transmssion Fluid Level Question

Hello,

I found this pdf from http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w123-e-ce-d-cd-td/1514846-1980-300d-perplexed-auto-transmission-fluid.html
the 3rd post

I discovered I have a K4C025 trans which is in the same class as the K4A025. According to this document, once the engine is at 80c the trans fluid level should be right about at the Min mark, while at the 20-30c it should be 20mm below the min max on the dipstick. Is this correct?

My transmission seems to shift much more smoother now that I removed about 10oz of trans fluid to much. The transmission was replaced just before I bought the car.
