Hallo Guys,
as I am new in this forum some words about me: I live in Nothern germany close to the City of Hamburg and bought 5 years ago a mercedes W116 6.9 from Los Angeles. Car was not in good shape, but 1 year ago I got the German TÜV, so I can cruise now like I want. I try to do all repairs by my own except of welding (two areas have to repaired). I always appreciate the information in the W116 forum.
As I do have some problems with my suspension, I came to the situation that I have to check the two height valves . Finally I overhauled them successfully. The colleagues from the W126 forum made a wiki articel of al the information. For who are intersted, you can find it here:

translate.bing.com or translate.google.com might help, failing that I think we have a few German speaking folks around here (myself included) who could help out too.

Right click on the screen and select translate with google translate. you may have to install an add in on your browser, but i dont think so.
