The butterfly flap on my 280se is sticky in the fully closed position. I'm pretty sure the throttle linkage itself is operating smoothly. I've shortened the linkage a tad so the butterfly flap is slightly open and doesn't stick in the closed position. Otherwise I would have to use a fair bit of force to press on the accelerator pedal. The throttle body inside seems to be perfectly clean though. Any ideas?
