Spark Plug Wires

Hello Everyone,

It's me again with another mechanical question. After getting our 450se running we were checking things over and discovered that one of the spark plug wires had disintegrated at the connection to the plug. My question is are the wires used on the 450se interchangeable with any other make and model or manufacturer? I'd like to be able to go salvage a wire elsewhere if I could.

I would honestly just replace the whole set with new.  One area where I would not skimp and many an electrical gremlin is caused by dodgy components like an old coil, cap, rotor etc so really I would replace them all so you have a baseline.  Just my 2c.
