Safety Jack Stand points?

Hi all

I want to removed all four wheels, have them sand blasted and powered black again before I place the new tyres on.

Where would be the safest part of the underside to place the jack stands while all the wheels are off?

Thanks

Daz

Usually under the subframe mounts. Definitely NOT under the sills.

I'll be painting my jacking points bright yellow before I have any workshop jack up my car...

make sure they use glass beads or other softer materials. sand will leave a bad impression in the soft aluminum.

I place them at the rear subframe mounts, and under the front tubular crossmember closest to the where it mounts to the chassis in most cases.

Aren't glass beads the same as sand? I've just known them as sand or bead blasting & thought they were quite different.
