im wondering if anyone knows what the minimum width of a bake rotor is supposed to be in order to pass inspection?
im changing my brake pads and i might as well change my rotors while im in there. i car needs to be inspected and i dont want to pay for an inspection to fail...fix.. pay again

dont know if its different from country to country. but im having a tough time finding an answer.

thank

The library section of this site will give you the minimum thickness.  I've never heard of it being checked at an inspection, though things may be a lot stricter where you are.  I guess if the discs are visibly obviously worn it could be a problem.

Be aware that changing the front discs is not a 5 minute job.  Budget on a morning if you have all the right tools.
