Pre-luber?

On that page there was a mention (but not necessarily an endorsement) of "pre-lube" devices--entities that drive oil to the engine before ignition.  Here's an example of one:

Has anyone used these?  I noticed that my car does seem to take a bit to start once I put the key in the ignition.  I was thinking something like this may help?
